Antique Timber Frames
An antique timber frame is reconstructed much the same way as an old log cabin. Each post, beam and brace
is measured, tagged, and numbered before it is dismantled. It can then be transported and reconstructed
on your new homesite. We use wooden pegs to hold the pieces together as they had been for the previous
150-200 years. Our timber frames are insulated with stress-skin panels and house wrap making them
energy-efficient and eco-friendly.
