Restoration

This old building tells many stories of the our past.  Located in Civil War country near Orange County, it was once used as a granary for a plantation. We are confident, after restoring the character of this building and preserving its life, that it will continue to create stories to tell our children.

Today it is a fully functional house at the Little Page Inn. While the outside still looks like it may be used as a barn on a farm, the inside is fully refurbished with drywall and insulation, and a kitchen with full modern convenient appliances. It also has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and living space to watch television or for family gatherings.

Timbers were left exposed to preserve the original ambiance

To honor the craftsmanship of the structure's original builders, Richard Hastings and crew left all the timbers exposed, including rafters, studs, beams and underside of floor joists. This captured a historic look, allowing for a secure sense of a well structured home.
